These terms apply to all pottery workshops and parties booked through Tuzzy Muzzy Collective. Please read them before you book — by completing a booking and payment, you agree to everything below on behalf of yourself and everyone in your party.
Our workshops and parties are designed for guests aged 15 and over. By booking, you confirm that you and everyone in your party are 15 years of age or older. We are not able to accommodate participants under 15, for any session, for any reason.
A booking is only confirmed once full payment has been received through our payment provider, Square. Places are limited and are not held or guaranteed until payment is complete. Please double-check the date, session, and number of guests before paying — you're responsible for the accuracy of the names and contact details you provide for everyone in your party.
If you need to cancel or change your booking: please contact us as soon as possible at tuzzymuzzyco@gmail.com. Cancellations made at least 5 business days before the session are eligible for a full refund. Cancellations made after this time are considered on a case-by-case basis and are not guaranteed a refund, as materials and places are prepared in advance. All refunds are processed manually and may take a few business days to appear.
If we need to cancel or reschedule: on the rare occasion we need to cancel or reschedule a session (for example, illness, weather, or insufficient numbers), we will contact you using the details provided at booking and offer a full refund or a place at an alternative date.
Pottery workshops involve inherent risks. By participating, you acknowledge these include, but are not limited to:
By booking, you confirm that you (and everyone in your party) are in good physical health, with no medical conditions, allergies (including skin sensitivities), or physical limitations that would make it unsafe to participate. You agree to follow all safety instructions, studio rules, and guidance provided by the instructor. We reserve the right to ask a participant to leave, without refund, if their behaviour compromises the safety of themselves or others.
Breakage: clay is an unpredictable medium. While every care is taken, Tuzzy Muzzy Collective is not responsible for pottery that cracks, breaks, or is otherwise lost during drying, firing, or glazing.
Collection: please collect your finished pieces within 4 weeks of being notified they're ready. We'll let you know by email when your pieces are ready to collect. Items left uncollected past this timeframe may be discarded or donated due to limited storage space.
To the full extent permitted by law — including the Civil Liability Act 2002 (WA) and the Australian Consumer Law — by booking you agree to release, waive, and discharge Tuzzy Muzzy Collective, its instructors, and assistants from any and all liability, claims, or demands for personal injury, illness, or death, and for property damage or loss, arising from your participation in a workshop or party.
Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.
You may be photographed or filmed as part of marketing activities during your workshop or party (including your work), for use on our social media, website, and other promotional materials. Please let us know on the day if you aren't OK with being photographed.
These terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia, Australia.
